CIS Group offers a full consultation service, from analyzing your current infrastructure to recommending workflow alterations. We work alongside our clients’ teams – ranging from projects and maintenance to engineering and operations – in order to analyze your existing needs and potential future challenges, and help you address both. We recognize that as organizations grow, business processes and operations need to be placed at the forefront to ensure that your organization is not reacting, but rather proactively adjusting. The ever-changing environment of media technology makes adaptation a constant challenge. Thus, your business objectives typically move in tandem with advances in technology. Let CIS work with you to analyze your current operational processes and support infrastructures, and ultimately recommend and design a more efficient solution. Working with your internal team, we can make workflow and system design recommendations that will keep you at the cutting edge.
Workflow Analysis & Proposal
In our experience, no two workflows are the same. Thus, each project has its idiosyncrasies, ranging from technical details to operational preferences. Additionally, it is of utmost importance to implement flexible and efficient end-to-end workflows that scale easily when needed, while also keeping business continuity in mind, should unfortunate situations ever arise. Our team works alongside your team, analyzing not only your existing workflow, but also potential alternatives.
Typically, these services include:
- Detailed assessment of existing installed base and current workflow
- Analysis of existing inefficiencies and potential substitutes
- Analysis of existing risks and potential mitigations
- Training and education recommendations, as well as sharing of resources
- Potential ROI analysis
Demos & Proof of Concept
Following our team’s recommendations with respect to workflow improvements, we will typically provide demos and/or Proof of Concepts (POCs) of the specified solution. It’s also possible, if you would like, to jump straight to this step of the consulting stage if you already have an idea of what you would like to see. CIS can set up demos and/or POCs remotely, at our facilities or on-site at the client. By testing the proposed recommendations and seeing them in action, we can collectively mitigate the risk of any surprises post implementation.
At this stage, you can expect us to present:
- Functioning models of the proposed solution
- Scope of Project (SOP) and/or Scope of Work (SOW)
Deployment
Once we have collectively reached the ideal workflow for you and tested it, it’s time to deploy the designed solution. This process can be very nuanced and time consuming, but CIS will accompany your team along the way, and will see the installation through to fruition.
At this stage, you can expect CIS to provide:
- Engineer(s) on-site to see deployment through acceptance testing
- Access to educational resources (i.e. manuals, knowledge bases)
- Proposal for continuing education
Training
Upon successful deployment and completion of acceptance testing, both engineering and operational teams sometimes feel further training will prove beneficial. CIS’s certified engineers are more than capable of providing training around the technical backdrop of the solution, as well as the particulars of how to operate it. We offer training in conjunction with manufacturers, as well as separate courses tailored to your team’s needs and timeline.
