CIS Group announces EditShare-based Remote Editorial Core Bundle
The content production industry has recently faced a tremendous amount of disruption as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. Actions taken by world leaders, local authorities and company executives in an effort to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus have led to essentially a global economic slowdown, if not halt. In response to the current landscape, media companies across the globe are quickly looking for ways to enable their production teams to work from home.
Over the past few weeks, our team at CIS Group has spent a lot of time thoroughly analyzing financially viable ways that we can lend a helping hand to the industry we know & love, and the first thing that came to mind was cost effective and efficient (i.e., easy to deploy, easy to use) remote production bundles, as indicated in a recent LinkedIn article by our CEO (https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/letter-content-production-industry-regarding-covid-19-matt-silva/).
Today, we are excited to announce our Remote Editorial Core Bundle, an NLE-agnostic, 48 TB system with 5 concurrent EditShare Flow Advanced licenses that enables a variety of remote editorial workflows for $22,495. This price includes 1st year of support from EditShare, as well as a spare drive. Also included in the price are CIS Professional Services to remotely install the system, remotely train the operators, and a bank of 20 support hours for post-deployment cases. We are also offering the option to upgrade to a 96TB system with 10 Flow Advanced licenses for an additional $7,996.
One thing to keep in mind is that while this pre-configured Core Bundle accomplishes a lot on its own, it is also meant to serve as a baseline for further conversations around remote production and cloud-centric workflows. To that end, we’re also offering options to add onto the bundle (more details below), and we’d love to deep dive into conversations with our clients, partners and colleagues around what else is achievable by adopting these technologies at scale. These options include:
- HP Z4 workstation with RGS (now ZCentral Remote Boost) installed
- RGS (now ZCentral Remote Boost) software only for those who already own workstations
- Helmut software only bundle that enhances the Adobe production experience by adding a layer of workflow intelligence, including user, group, task and project management capabilities
This bundle will be available until September 20th, 2020. For more information, please reach out to us at sales@cisgroup.tv or directly to your sales representative.
